Biochemistry and Microbiology are witnessing rapid changes, especially with the current pandemic that is placing a big impact on health systems and vulnerable populations around the world. Today, treatment and drug development go hand in hand with promotion and prevention, and there is an increased interest in nature and traditional medicines as reservoirs of active biomolecules.

We are pleased that AEAE is organizing its 5th World Congress, with the theme: Biomolecules for tackling various diseases.
